Clay facing bricks are an excellent way to add an attractive aesthetic to a wall by installing a layer of decorative bricks over the exterior surface. This is a popular option when building with concrete blocks, combining the economy and speed of building with breeze blocks, with the appealing visuals of clay bricks.
Jewson clay facing bricks are available in standard sizes, typically 215mm x 102.5mm, in thicknesses of 65mm or 73mm, with a number of machine pressed wirecut bricks too. We offer a range of colours, including grey, yellow, orange and brown bricks, which can be added directly over most existing masonry.
If you need an estimate of how many clay facing bricks you need to skin a wall, use our Brick Calculator. This calculates how many bricks to build a wall based on standard sizes, with a mortar layer 10mm thick, but this can all be customised for non-standard builds or other materials such as cinder blocks.
We welcome enquiries about bulk purchases of clay bricks from new and existing trade customers. For any other queries, please don't hesitate to contact us. You can speak to one of our brick experts in your local Jewson branch, or get in touch via the website and we will be happy to help.
