Canadian Lumber Size (CLS) studwork timber is finished on all faces, resulting in a smoother stud wall timber that is ideally suited to frame building and cavity wall construction. CLS timber has a machined finish on all sides, but other than that it falls into the general category of C16 timber, offering all of the advantages of that strength class.
Jewson stock a variety of CLS timber sizes, from 63mm to 100mm wide, 38mm to 75mm thick and in lengths of between 400mm and 4,800mm. Many of our branches are equipped with cutting & milling facilities where we can cut your CLS timber to specific lengths, for faster and easier installation when you reach the construction site.
If you are buying CLS wood as stud wall timber, don't forget to add any other building materials you need to complete the project. We have a great range of plasterboard ready for immediate collection in-branch, so you can have your new wall put up in next to no time. For flooring and other general assembly projects, we also stock sheet materials including chipboard & OSB, so you have plenty to choose from.
