A Perry No.50/4L Heavy Suffolk Latch 108mm L Galvanised Pack of 10 has a long thumb piece. Well suited for use wooden gates and doors of up to 75mm thick that need to be opened from either side. The heavy Suffolk latch is designed with a medium weight mechanical function that allows the plates for varied applications. The latch bar drops into it, securing the gate or door. It has three components like back plate, latch and keeps. The back plate supports the handle and thumb catch to lift the lever. A slot is cut right through the wood to accept the lever and then the back plate is screwed down. The latch assembly has a bar hinged at one end with a knob for lifting and jump staple to keep the bar aligned.
