The Dome Caps and Retaining Washers White are made to conceal the tips of lacing hoop pins or anchor pins. The washer is held in place by the screw, or rivet head and the domed cap clip into the place over the washer. The dome caps are manufactured from stainless steel and the advantage is that it is used in a rigorous environment. It is resistant to fire and heat allowing it to resist scaling and retain strength at high temperature. The washer is manufactured from rubber used for water and airline seal. It is used to prevent vibration from spreading from one part to another, reducing the noise level.
