The Colmar Oak laminate upstand is a blocked wood effect surface designed to look like a solid wood worktop, replicating wood but with the practicality of laminate. Use the upstand to finish the look of your worktop, whilst protecting paintwork and creating a neat line. Created using the same high-quality materials as the laminate worktops, upstands are very durable and low maintenance. An ideal way to conceal the join between walls and work surfaces, they’re a stylish alternative to tiles disguising any slightly uneven walls behind your worktop. Being both water and scratch resistant, they can be wiped clean using a soft cloth with warm soapy water making them suitable for busy kitchens. Please note: Upstands should not be fitted directly behind a gas hob without additional protection.
