The built-in downpipe provides a direct ventilation path into the roof space, covering an area of 10,000mm² to help reduce the build up of mould growth and structural damage, caused by damp, poorly ventilated roofs. While it can also be used as a terminal for soil and ventilation pipes and mechanical extraction systems too when used with an adaptor and Flexipipe.@NL@Profile-Line 15x9 Tile Vents have been specially developed to suit leading tile manufacturers, including Redland 49, Marley Ludlow Plus, Sandtoft Standard Pattern, and Forticrete V2 interlocking tiles. The in-line design makes the vent virtually invisible in the roof line and is available in a wide variety of colours to match the roof tiles.
