The mortise lock is an easy-to-install alternative e.g. for side entrance doors made of wood, PVC-U or aluminium with low security requirements. It contains the latch and the main deadbolt and is similar to a Winkhaus multi-point locking system in terms of routing, backset and rosette holes. The mortise locks can also be used with the standard latch deadbolt keeps from the Winkhaus range of frame parts.
