 Christmas Rewards 2022 (the "Promotion") Terms & Conditions 
 
1.    Promoter: Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Limited trading as Jewson. Registered office: Saint-Gobain House, East Leake, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE12 6JU. Company Number 1647362 (the "Promoter").
2.    This Promotion is open exclusively to existing Jewson credit, cash or self-build account (the “Accounts”) holders (the “Participants” and each a “Participant”). The Accounts do not include trade accounts or trade cash accounts of other brands of the Promoter or the Saint-Gobain group.  Participants must be aged 18 or over and cannot be employees of the Promoter (or any other company within the Saint-Gobain group) (an “Employee”), an Employee’s immediate family, their agents or anyone else professionally connected with this Promotion.  Any Account holders which have their own Jewson account manager may not participate within this Promotion and will not be included within the definition of Participants.  This Promotion is open to potential new account holders only where their application to open an account has been accepted by the Promoter within the Promotion Period set out below. Applicants must allow at least five working days for a new account application to be considered by the Promoter. If there is any uncertainty as to who may be a Participant, please contact the Jewson Rewards team on 01509 410730 whose decision shall be final and binding. 
3.    Participants can only qualify to participate in the Promotion if they have registered and provided a valid email address on Jewsonrewards.co.uk/partytime and they verify that they are over the age of eighteen (18) years old upon a request being made at any time in connection with this Promotion.  
4.    The Promoter and its third party supplier/s, who will be responsible for delivery of any Awards (as defined below), reserve the right in their sole discretion to ask for evidence to verify the age, identity and/or eligibility of a Participant at any time, and to use any channels and methods available to carry out checks of any details provided, especially at the point that the Award is delivered.  The Promoter may withhold delivery of the Award until it has received such evidence and failure to provide such evidence in a timely manner may result in forfeiture of the Award. 
5.    This Promotion will run from when a branch branded Jewson within the Promoter’s network of branches (a “Branch”) opens on 14th November 2022 until a Branch closes on 30th November 2022 (the “Closing Date”) (the “Promotion Period”).  Please see http://www.jewson.co.uk for details of branch locations and branch opening and closing times.  No award will be made for any spend by a Participant after the Closing Date.  
6.    Subject to clauses 18 and 19, a Participant can qualify for bottles of wine, a party bundle (bottles of beer, Just Eat voucher and bunting flags) or love 2 Shop vouchers (“Wine”/ “Beer Party Bundle” / “Vouchers”, each an “Award”) if they meet the Qualifying Spend targets set out in the table below in any single, or series of, Qualifying Transactions (as defined at clause 7) through an Account during the Promotion Period. The maximum Award for each Participant in aggregate during the Promotion Period is as set out in the table below - being 12 bottles of Wine, a 32 Bottle Beer Party Bundle or a £120 Voucher Award (only one Award is made to a Participant, regardless of how many different Accounts the Participant has or uses or how many Qualifying Transactions they make).

7.    To be counted as Qualifying Spend towards an Award an order must be (i) either placed in Branch (in person or by telephone) or ordered online at the Jewson.co.uk website; (ii) for at least one hundred pounds (£100) excluding VAT in each transaction; and (iii) collected from a Branch; a "Qualifying Transaction". Delivered orders and direct to site deliveries by the Promoter’s third party suppliers are excluded from this Promotion.  
8.    On or around Friday 9th December 2022, all Participants who qualify for an Award will be sent an email confirming the value of the Award. Participants based in Scotland and/or purchasing from a Branch in Scotland must validate their Award on receipt of an email from the Promoter, and must comply with all local law requirements and also the 'Challenge 25 Policy' (https://rasg.org.uk/#:~:text=Challenge%2025%20is%20a%20retailing,the%20off%20trade%20in%202009). If Participants living in Scotland fail to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to withhold any Award.  
9.    If a Participant requires a refund on any spend made during the Promotion Period which resulted in or contributed to the total for an Award, the Promoter will deduct the value of the refund from the Participant's Qualifying Spend total which may result in the Award no longer being made due to the Qualifying Spend falling below the relevant qualifying threshold of one hundred pounds (£100) and so no longer being a Qualifying Transaction, or falling below any relevant total Qualifying Spend threshold. 
10.    If you are making a purchase through an Account but you are not the named Account holder, any Award made during the Promotion Period is for the benefit of and will be sent to the address of the Account holder.  
11.    The "Bottles" will be made up of either a 750ml Bendico Terre Siciliane Vermentino (Italian White) or a 750ml La Novena Garnacha (Spanish Red) for Wine Award, or a 330ml bottle of Birra Moretti where the Beer Party Bundle Award option is selected.
12.    No cash alternative is available.   
13.    The Bottles will be awarded whilst stocks last.  In the event that stocks of the Bottles run out, the Promoter may substitute an alternative bottle/s of the same size and colour of wine, or a similar size and quality of beer, and of a similar value. 
14.    All Awards awarded to a Participant during the Promotional Period will be delivered together to the address of the relevant Account holder (the Participant) by the Promotor’s third party supplier following the Closing Date.  The Promoter’s intention is to arrange for the Award to be delivered as soon as is reasonably possible following the Closing Date but at least prior to 31 January 2023 (no deliveries will be made between 24th December 2022 and 3rd January 2023 (inclusive)).  The Promoter and its agents will not be liable where an Award has been lost or stolen following delivery and such Award will not be replaced. 
15.    In relation to this Promotion: 
a.    Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s or its third party supplier’s liability for death or personal injury caused by their staff or supplier’s negligence or for fraud. A Participant's statutory rights are not affected.
b.    Subject to 15a, the Promoter does not accept responsibility for any fault, malfunction, damage, loss or disappointment suffered by a Participant howsoever arising from accepting any Award whether due to any error, omission or other cause by the Promoter or its employees, agents or others.  
c.    Subject to 15a, the Promoter is not responsible for any damage or loss caused to a Participant (i) which is not reasonably foreseeable to the Participant and to the Promoter when the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions (which occurs automatically when the Participant participates in this Promotion) or (ii) is reasonably foreseeable to the Participant and to the Promoter when the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions but is only indirectly related to the Participant participating in this Promotion. 
d.    Subject to 15a, the Promoter reserves the right to amend any element of this Promotion, or foreclose this Promotion, and cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver an Award for reasons beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strike, lock-out, labour dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation.  The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to the Participant as a result of any of these occurrences. 
e.    The Participant agrees to reimburse the Promoter in respect of any damages or any losses suffered by the Promoter resulting from any claim made by a third party in each case in respect of any matter arising from the Participant’s participation in the Promotion in breach of these terms and conditions or from the Participant’s violation of any applicable law or regulation.  
f.    Subject to 15a, if any details on a Participant’s Account are incorrect or the Participant is unavailable to accept delivery meaning that the Promoter’s third party supplier is unable to deliver an Award to the Account holder, the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact the Participant and redeliver the Award but the Promoter does not accept responsibility for any inability to deliver if for whatever reason it is unable to make contact with the Participant to redeliver.   
16.    In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative Award of equal or greater value.   
17.    The Promoter may require any Participant who receives an Award to take part in future publicity.   
18.    The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant in the event the Promoter believes that they have contravened any of these terms and conditions and if the Promoter is aware that the Participant has a dispute regarding their Account.   
19.    The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.  
20.    Accepting an Award may give rise to a tax liability which will be the Participant’s responsibility. 
21.    The Promoter will only process your personal information in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy at  https://www.saint-gobain.co.uk/privacy-statement 
22.    If for whatever reason after registering for the Promotion you then decide you do not wish to take part in this Promotion or you wish to change your Award for example choosing Vouchers in lieu of Bottles, you may opt out by calling 01509 410730 or emailing info@jewsonrewards.co.uk with your company name, Jewson account number and post code or by making staff at the Branch aware in writing of the details of your Award switch, or the fact that you do not wish to take part in this Promotion. No changes to the chosen Award can be made after 30th November 2022. 
23.    The terms and conditions of any third party supplier (for example JustEat https://giftcards.just-eat.co.uk/terms-and-conditions or Love2Shop https://corporate.love2shop.co.uk/COMMON/corporate/terms/flexecode-end-user-gifted.pdf) will also apply to the Award, as applicable. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any third party supplier. If there is a conflict between third party terms and conditions and these Promotion Terms and Conditions, these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.  
24.    Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a condition of entry into this Promotion.
25.    English law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.
