Jewson planed timber comes in a range of sizes and wood types, including European redwood timber (also known as pine timber) and European whitewood (spruce). We stock the full range of timber sizes UK trades require, with the option to cut timber to length at many of our branches by request.

Our standard planed timber sizes range from 33mm to 220mm wide and 12mm to 95mm thick, giving you plenty of options to meet the needs of all kinds of carpentry and joinery projects. The range includes planed timber and planed softwood, as well as cladding and wood flooring, and skirting and architrave.

For quick cuts on-site, remember to buy woodworking tools along with your order. If you already have carpentry hand tools, we also supply replacement saw and plane blades, to keep your tools sharp and make construction and refurbishment work even easier.

Planed timber is available in a range of lengths. For very large orders, we will supply the total meterage required using the most appropriate lengths of timber we have in stock. If you need your planed timber to be a particular length, please ask in-branch where we will be happy to tell you if we are able to do this.

Jewson timber is responsibly sourced and certified under Chain of Custody schemes including the Forest Stewardship Council. Find out more on each product's page, or ask in-branch if you need more information about the sustainability of our planed timber and how it complies with the current regulations on the import and use of timber in the UK.
