Jewson's MDF and wooden skirting boards give you a choice of natural wood or primed white MDF finishes. We have a selection of styles and mouldings, with decorative architrave boards also available that can be used to frame doorways and window recesses.
Skirting serves many purposes, providing a neat finishing edge to wallpaper and painted walls, protecting the bottom of the wall against accidental scuffs when walking or standing close to the wall, and giving laminate floors room to expand and contract with changes in temperature.
MDF skirting board is a fast and easy option for rapid installation. The fibreboard texture makes it clean to cut, with very little sanding required. Our MDF white skirting boards can be fixed into place and are ready to paint with no need to prime.
Alternatively, choose pine skirting boards for the aesthetic appeal of natural wood. Wooden skirting boards can be painted the colour of your choice, or may be stained, waxed or varnished to highlight the woodgrain.
Our timber is sourced from sustainable forests, with Chain of Custody certification for each product so that you can demonstrate that it is from a responsibly managed forest, in line with regulations on timber grown or imported into the UK.
