The Phoenix Metal Ceiling Furring Runner Channel 3600 x 420mm (L x W) Galvanised is a ceiling system that is connected with no visible joints, specially designed to produce a ceiling with conventional plaster appearance. When combing the Libra furring system with tapered edge plasterboards and taped filled joints it makes space for a wide variety of decorations to be applied to the surface of the wall. Surfaces can be left smooth in places where hygiene is of prime importance particularly in the medical field. The plasterboard is fixed to the product to assist drywall screw penetration. The Libra systems metal furring conforms to BS 476 Part 23 for fire resistance. This is a secondary section below the FF30 to allow fixing of plasterboard to the face.
