The Phoenix Metal Furring Edge Trim 26 x 3600mm (W x L) Galvanised is part of a ceiling system that is connected with no visible joints, specially designed to produce a ceiling with conventional plaster appearance. When combing the Libra furring system with tapered edge plasterboards and taped filled joints it makes space for a wide variety of decorations to be applied to the surface of the wall. Surfaces can be left smooth in places where hygiene is of prime importance particularly in medical field. The plasterboard is fixed to the product to assist drywall screw penetration. The Libra systems metal furring conforms to BS 476 Part 23 for fire resistance.
